VIDEO ONE
BETH with her gelding HARRY who is 16y years and thought to be WB x TB.
He has been with Beth for 9 years and mainly hacked & schooled.
Beth has enjoyed some competing up to Elementary but they had some time off with injury and other commitments..
Beth has already found Harry to be very responsive to using her breath for transitions in both lunging and ridden work. – She says, ‘He is a very obliging horse in many ways and I am enjoying trying new ways to connect with him. I'd like help to get him more forward and more engaged. He also likes to come behind the contact and onto his forehand so I would like some help with that, too, please!’
So this video shows Harry and how sensitive he is to breath-energy in loose work and lungeing. Next month we will show Harry under saddle and how he responds to Beths’ deeper breath awareness.
VIDEO TWO - JENNY RIDING RED
I look at the depth of connection felt by Red through my breathing. He is ridden in my Gentil bitless bridle with no spurs or whip yet readily responding to my depth of breathing
If you spend time to own these basic principles for yourself- you open a door for discovery - gaining an emotional connection within the movement-- This oneness has the ability to begin a transformation within your riding.
We will focus over the coming months on breath-energy to advance lightness and harmony within Classical Training
